Well the Gurn wants anything you have that has a Nairnshire connection: news, stories, poetry, pictures, artwork, memories, gurns. Are you an exiled Nairnite? Tell us about where you live now. Have you ever visited Nairn? What did you think?
Whatever it is, if you think others might be interested, then if the Gurn agrees, we'll put it up on-line. Bear in mind we have to observe the same sort of rules that other forms of media adhere to (or claim to adhere to) and we are not interested in scandal about peoples' personal lives.
So if you can please send your contributions to nurngurn@googlemail.com in Word format if you can manage it and we prefer pictures to be .jpg or .gif format.
The Gurn will also link to your blog if you regularly post material about Nairn. If for whatever reason the Gurn will or cannot publish your material then remember that within ten minutes you too could have a blog up and running on the blogspot or similar service.
The Gurn service might vary from time to time but please come back if you hit on the Gurn in a famine rather than feast period. We do our best but it is all voluntary and apart from the google ads from which we hope the income will one day hit the $100 mark and thus release funds for a Gurn Staff Party there is no commercial element to the operation.
Remember citizens, we too are the media now - if you have talent and a PC with an internet connection then give it a go! You could be the next Gurnite sensation to hit the Nairn information super-highway!
